Merge discussion[edit]

I copy-edited the page. This involved removing substantial amounts of POV text, puffery, and other un-encyclopedic content. As it stands, the majority of the page is unreferenced. I was unable to find any reliable sources to flesh out the claims made in the article; as a result, much of it could be challenged and removed. If the rest of the unsourced puffery were removed, the article would be a stub. Being short on content, unreferenced, and not notable, the topic doesn't merit its own article. I propose that this be merged into Elizabeth Public Schools, where it belongs. At a bare minimum, the athletics portion of the article should be merged there, as the article clearly states that individual high schools in the Elizabeth school system don't have individual athletics programs; there are only district-wide teams. If the article isn't merged, it should be deleted for the same reasons: not notable, no references given or found, orphan article. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 02:02, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request Move[edit]

Admiral William Halsey Leadership Academy → Admiral William F. Halsey Health and Public Safety Academy - Elizabeth Public Schools just made some changes this school year. The Academy of Finance just got branched off to its own school and Halsey Academy just got renamed to the Halsey Health and Public Safety Academy (Link: http://www.epsnj.org/pages/Elizabeth_Public_Schools/Leapsnewswire/EPS_Opens_Two_New_High_Schools). Please let me know when you have a say. 20C (talk) 14:36, 21 Septembe 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 20chances (talkcontribs)
