Baruch Spinoza[edit]

This recent work on Beverland and Spinoza seems to be a reliable source for the WP article, just because it points out the long-time, personal and in-depth of the Calssical philologist and the philosopher of Amsterdam. I also argues a wide variety of intepreters has seen the analogies, but very few of them has highlighted the differences of their thoughts. Berverland was radically pessimistic on the possibility to make people free from their native istincts to pleasure (while the view of the vorld of Spinoza was much more open).
