I write as a representative of Advance America, Cash Advance, Inc. to make you aware of my intention to edit the Wikipedia article about my company. Advance America wants to be a responsible, transparent member of the Wikipedia community.

Below is an outline of the changes I will be making:

Updating and correcting information in the right hand summary box. For example: The summary box contains company financial data from FY 2009, which is outdated, and lists our website incorrectly.
Updating outdated information included in the article. For example: “As of 2008, the company owned and operated approximately two-thousand eight hundred branches and exceeded $500 million in revenue.” – Our company footprint is now smaller and our revenue higher.

Wikipedia has informed me that I may edit the article.

No References Box[edit]

Wikipedia Community,

I would like to remove the "no references" box found at the top of the Advance America page since the article has been updated to include multiple references. Please let me know if you have any concerns.

References out of date[edit]

Many of the references no longer link to valid pages because they were created when Advance was a public company and sites that report information about public companies remove the information when the company is taken private as Advance was in 2012. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.15.23.74 (talk) 13:18, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
