Promotion[edit]

I remember a Max Walker ad, where he was being questioned by a young boy (clearly an adoring fan) if the "crowds" bothered him, and being told they didn't, it was the flies that did ("Mr Walker" used aeroard to ward them off of course) with the boy saying "I use it too Mr Walker" and ending by wishing "Mr Walker" to "aveagoodweekend". I don't remember a John Newcombe commercial for aerogard - there might have been one before my time, but I wonder if the writer has mistaken Max Walker for John Newcombe since they both have brown wavy hair and big moustaches! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.177.218.51 (talk) 05:50, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

the active ingredient is not DEET. I am currently trying to find out what it is, but it definitely is not deet. The repellent was invented in 1962. The active ingredient was invented by Doug Waterhouse (http://www.csiro.au/files/mediaRelease/mr2000/PrDougW.htm). The rest of this article was lifted from a 'superbrands' page and the mortein website and is unacceptably POV. It should be deleted or re-written. 59.154.8.58 (talk) 03:35, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
