Edits to the "Music" Subsection[edit]

Hello! I have added some information and citations to the "Music" subsection of this article. I chose to focus my edits on the roots of Affrilachian music because I felt it was important to show how intercultural exchange during the time of slavery in the United States led to the development of Appalachian music's distinct sound. I previously did not know that many aspects of Appalachian music originated in West Africa, so I thought it was important to share this information so that others would be aware of it as well. I hope that other Wikipedia editors will continue to add information about Affrilachian music, because there is still much to be said about it. My edits address just a small fraction of rich Affrilachian history and contributions. Bibliophile1024 (talk) 17:15, 25 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
