Difference between Registry Service Provider and Registry Operator[edit]

Please remember there is a difference between Registry Service Provider and Registry Operator. Afilias is the Registry Operator for .INFO only. The remaining TLD and CCTLD's it is the technical backend, or registry service provider. Note also that Afilias and mTLD (.mobi) annouced a merger last month, mTLD will still remain independant in operations however as Afilias now owns the company one could say Afilias is now also the Registry Operator for .mobi. Needs more references[edit]

Adding cite references to the article but having a hard time finding anything other than on the Afilias and .info web sites.

Some TLDs should be removed[edit]

The following TLDs should be removed from the "List of Afilias Operated Domains": .ADULT, .PORN, .SEX, .XXX, .IN ^[1] ^[2] The following TLDs should be added to the same: .BM, .IO, .AC, .SH ^[3] The following TLDs should be edited: .GLOBAL, Operated → Owned ^[4] Marandaw (talk) 17:43, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
