Jewish Afrikaners?[edit]

Come on, there is no such thing. Check out the census forms and prove that there have ever been any. Jewish people in SA have always preferrred English as a home language, the fact that some grew up speaking/writing it fluently doesn't make them Afrikaners any more than speaking/writing fluent English makes an Afrikaner or a Zulu, English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.14.218.82 (talk) 15:47, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Does this even exist?[edit]

Are there even any Afrikaner-Jews? The article states that Eastern European jews came and shaped South African jewry, but.. didn't these learn English as a first language? Didn't Jews from England learn... well... English? I can only think that German Jews maybe ended up speaking Afrikaans? Bezuidenhout (talk) 18:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
