David Suchet version[edit]

The changes are rather more than the article suggests, and some day when time allows I might list them. One of the problems the screenplay creates for the plot is that it's hard to tell what sort of show Michael and Rosamund are engaged upon. If it is a West End run, they are both comitted to be in London every weeknight by early evening. This makes such a difference to their movements that we need much more information about travelling times to Enderby, and to Cora's. Far from the theatre scenes clarifying anything, Poirot calls backstage and I have never been able to make out whether a performance is going on, or not (it is light and busy outside, a key actress leaves the theatre, etc). There is also some "sign-posting" - for instance, I doubt if couples who are seeing each other clandestinely in private cuddle only just out of view at their place of work!

I updated the link instead of using the wayback machine link to the original page. The official website reorganized its material, so the link to this novel is now good. I will set the parameter to true, as it was the right page from the wayback machine, but the updated link will stand. I hope that is the right procedure. --Prairieplant (talk) 05:58, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summary reverted[edit]

GUtt01, here you are again, going over a plot summary that has been gone over so many times. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=After_the_Funeral&diff=840076580&oldid=833723761 Your version is still too long, which was the fault of the version in place before you started over, so there is no clear improvement to see. I do wish you could respect the writing of other editors and work in a collegial spirit. --Prairieplant (talk) 03:41, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
