Failed "good article" nomination[edit]

This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of January 26, 2009, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Fail
2. Factually accurate?: Impossible to judge
3. Broad in coverage?: Fail
4. Neutral point of view?: Mostly pass
5. Article stability? Pass
6. Images?: Fail

The article is woefully inadequate in terms of citing and references; there don't seem to be any for the period before 2008. This alone will prevent the article from becoming GA.

The lead section is too short.

The article is missing Carlsson's early biography: where was she born, who are her parents, where did she go to school, what did she study, etc.

"Controversy" should not be a separate section; this leads to NPOV problems. Simply merge the material in question in with the rest of her biography, in the proper chronological place.

The section headers don't conform with the MoS regarding casing.

Some obvious categories are missing, such as ones for Swedish female singers.

The album cover images cannot be used in a general biography article like this. Fair use rules only allow them to be used in the articles about each album.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— Wasted Time R (talk) 22:29, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
