Good GOD.[edit]

That has to be the most miserable picture of any place ever in the history of Wikipedia. Really does the town credit! --Τασουλα (Shalom!) (talk) 00:28, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean? - there's the town on a fine summer's day, the main street fair bustling with shoppers and their kids ... except they're slightly out of the frame ...Straw Cat (talk) 00:40, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do they not have cameras or smartphones yet in Ahascragh? I took this passing through a decade ago and it is a true reflection of what I saw on that most miserable of days. I'm seriously intrigued as to why someone would seek to delete this from the Wiki portfolio rather than simply replacing it with a sunnier shot.
Mind you, you'll need to be very selective...the wirescapes, broken pavements, derelict buildings and worn unmarked streets of Ahascragh will make shot selection challenging  :) Sarah777 (talk) 23:54, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It does give me a new insight into the mind of my mother, who was born and brought up here ..Straw Cat (talk) 00:42, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination for prize?[edit]

Is there a prize for the most boring section of any article on WP? If so the history section of this should surely win hands down. Straw Cat (talk) 00:47, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I guess not a lot happens in Ahascragh! Nobody has yet mustered the energy to come up with a photo to replace the one they wanted to be deleted from Wikimedia years ago! (And posting Google maps or other internet-copied cut-outs is cheating!) Get out and use your camera phone! It's so easy these days. Sarah777 (talk) 21:00, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
