Please don't remove date templates if you don't understand how they work...[edit]
I re-added the original {{Birth year and age}} template. When instantiated this template, and a couple of dozen similar ones, emit html tags that reliably name the fields associated with birth dates. This means robots can reliably look for these dates. They don't have to use unreliable screen-scraping and guess at birth dates. It is a serious advantage of using the template. It also does a calculation, so the age it presents is uptodate, no matter when it is read.
