The article now has a few sentences about AirPower, however it would make more sense to merge it into an AirPower section in the Qi article and redirect as you suggest. --pmj (talk) 23:35, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think it should first be mentioned on other relevant articles. These are all mentions of "AirPower" in articles. Then it should be merged into Apple Inc. or some other article but not Qi (standard). Wumbolo (talk) 07:32, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

AirPower Mat[edit]

I think that this article should be renamed "AirPower Mat", as that's what Apple seems to call the product where it is mentioned in the wireless charging sections of both the iPhone X page and the iPhone 8 page, and on the Apple Watch compare page. On the iPhone pages, although it mentions AirPower by itself, it refers to it as "The elegant, ultrathin new AirPower mat". On the Apple Watch compare page, it says "Supports AirPower mat". Vapourware?[edit]

I’m not sure that this article deserves to be written in the manner that it is at the moment. Discussion: "unreleased" vs "upcoming"[edit]

Recent edits on the main article have shown an edit war-like behavior between multiple editors, more specifically on the word choice. Instead of consistently going back and forth between these two words, I suggest having a civil discussion here regarding this issue and reach a consensus. While having this discussion, I also suggest weighing in the sources used in the main article instead of relying solely on opinion and/or rumors. RayDeeUx (talk) 14:24, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There has been no confirmation from Apple that the device is cancelled, therefore it should be treated as an in-development and upcoming device. All Apple has said is that it is an upcoming product.
