with "In February, 2014, Melvin was interviewed by Anderson Cooper on CNN regarding Melvin's support for a recent Arizona bill passed by the state legislature. This bill has been characterized as allowing religious people to discriminate against others, if they feel their religious beliefs are threatened. The bill states:

' "Unreasonable burden" means that a person is prevented from using the person's property in a manner that the person finds satisfactory to fulfill the person's religious mission.

Partly done This article was edited to link to Arizona SB 1062, which describes the bill in detail. This article, which is a biography of a politician, doesn't need to get into a more detailed description of the bill, as that may be found by simply linking to the article about the bill. Added his date and place of death[edit]
