Former branches

  • Gadsden and Attalla Railroad: Attalla to Gadsden, AGS-owned from 1892 to 1905, but sold to Southern in 1905, retaining AGS trackage rights - this may still be part of NS ([3])
  • Woodstock and Blocton Railway: Woodstock to Blocton, AGS bought half interest from L&N in 1909; still jointly owned by CSX and NS, but appears to be abandoned or at least cut back; if the latter only NS still has access

East End Avenue is now Central Avenue. Missionary Avenue is now 23rd Street.
