Aldo Crommelynck[edit]

It is stated that Aldo Crommelynck was Master Printer for Picasso. This is incorrect as Picasso actually worked closely with Aldo's brother, Piero Crommelynck. Piero was not only his Master Printer but a good friend. Many drawings by Picasso of Piero and his family are a testament to this. It was also Piero's resemblance to Picasso's father that drew Picasso to him.

Aldo Crommelynck was better known for his collaboration with English Artists, such as Richard Hamilton, and those from the USA.
