Tonight Show[edit]

Alexander King was a guest on the ancient Tonight show hosted by Jack Paar. Note that at this time the Tonight show had guests who were interesting and articulate, rather than celebs who were hyping their latest product. The previous guest had been W.F. Buckley. When King came on he quipped, "These conservatives! What are they trying to conserve except themselves". As of late 2023 it seems a stretch to refer to the Tonight show with Jack Parr as "ancient". Could we agree on "vintage"? Keithf (talk) 17:37, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
