the life of Dr Alexandre Yersin[edit]

hi moo Dear Sir I found a mistake in the page of Wikipedia on Dr Alexandre Yersin. The high school named after him is in the city of Dalat (not Hanoi) in South Viet Nam, about 200 km North-Est of Saigon/Ho Chi Minh city. The french high school in Hanoi mentioned in the same page was named after Albert Sarraut, prime minister and minister of colonies of France at the beginning of the XX century. This Albert Sarraut high-school ceased to exist some 2 years after the communist government took over Hanoi and Nord Viet Nam (at the time of their victory of the battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954). I was a student of the Albert Sarraut High-school until 1954 when our family moved to Saigon during the exodus of some 800,000 north Vietnamese persons abandoning their home to live in the South of Viet Nam. with my best regards Nguyen Thuong Vu M.D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.36.133.119 (talk) 19:15, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

French High school of Hanoi[edit]

It appears that the French High school ("Lycée") of Hanoi is now named after Alexandre Yersin : http://www.ambafrance-vn.org/spip.php?rubrique58

The Alexandre Yersin Hisgh school mentionned in this link opened in 1990 : a previous French High school in Hanoi was indeed named after Sarraut during the colonial period : Lycée Albert Sarraut — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.139.116.243 (talk) 23:17, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
