Request for restoration of photograph[edit]

I am the widow of Alfred de Grazia and original creator of the page. I courteously beg for reinstatement of the picture of Alfred de Grazia at the liberation of the concentration camp at Dachau in 1945. It is of historical importance. Alfred de Grazia has always recognized himself in this picture. He chose it himself for inclusion in his memoir about WWII “A Taste of War - Soldiering in WWII.” This picture appeared on a poster at the J.F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, N.C. at the occasion of the ceremonies for Alfred de Grazia being made posthumously a Distinguished Member of the Regiment of Psychological Operations at Fort Bragg, by General Eric Wendt on October 31, 2014. I was present at this ceremony and received the honor on his behalf. I state most emphatically that Alfred de Grazia never was at Buchenwald. The only Nazi concentration camp he visited was the one in Dachau, near Munich. His army records and his own memoir are here to prove it. I understand that this picture can offend the sensitivities of his loved ones, but Wikipedia is a tool of knowledge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amideg (talkcontribs) 06:36, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New material[edit]

I thank BeyondMyKen for his careful custody of this article. I have expanded the section on Academic Career to include a significant aspect of Alfred de Grazia's contribution to political science, described in a recently published book. I have inserted a lengthy quote and several references. AmidegAmideg (talk) 19:05, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
