Marini Trial[edit]

Could we have an article on the Marini Trial and why it was a frame-up? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.77.144.5 (talkcontribs) 20:10, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Stratigopolous[edit]

Hi @Cinadon36, I'm working on some cleanup tags and thought you might be able to help with this one. Do you have any sources on the Stratigopolous passage, on either his or Bonanno's sentence? czar 02:27, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Goodmorning @Czar:, I am sorry, I couldn't spot anything apart from this. Just their arrest hit the newrooms of major papers in Greece, couldnt spot anything for the trial. Anyway, this article says that Bonano had a great impact on the young anarchists of Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei. We should add it somewhere (but where?) Cinadon36 09:00, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me if I am mistaken, @Cinadon36 but does that article not that Bonanno was of influence to Nikos Romanos, who has always denied being a part of of the Cells of Fire, although ideologically close to them? In any case the charges of being a SPF member from the state did not stick.[1] Romanos is actually a hard one, as an aside. I would love to write about him on Wikipedia but generally at a lose to where he would fit, exactly. SP00KYtalk — Preceding undated comment added 13:37, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Re-pinging @Cinadon36 because I don't believe the previous message went through. czar 03:49, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Czar and W1tchkr4ft 00:, sorry for not replying earlier. I must have taken the notification on my cell phone and forgot about it later. I kind of lost track of the discussion here. Sp00ky, the article of protothema.gr is on Romanos and also mentions Bonano. I am having seconds thoughts if we could use it, per dailymail reasoning (WP:RSPDM). Protothema is borderline RS to say the least. The article says that Romanos rejects being part of SPF (Ο ίδιος ο Ρωμανός επιμένει σε άλλη μια ιδεολογικοπολιτική επιστολή του ότι ασπάζεται μεν τον ένοπλο αγώνα και δεν μετανιώνει για τις πράξεις του, αλλά και ότι δεν έχει καμία σχέση με τους «Πυρήνες της Φωτιάς» εκτός από ιδεολογικές εμμονές.). @Cinadon36:To note Romanos was also cleared by the courts of being a member of SPF, which is I think the most important thing. It is something that has confused me in the past and I have made a bad edit because they are often put together by greek media, particularlly pre-appeal, see here. for a passing reference about the trial and Romanos SDF status legally.
I agree there is an ideological influence between SPF and Bonano though, although emphasis on infuence, there are in my opinion also clear and wide differences, it is simply documenting it without using bad sources or 'original research'! Bonanno has been given solidarity explicitly in SPF communiques and he is unarguably the most important living thinker to the insurrectionary anarchism which the SPF is a continuum of. Just, need to find a good source that comments directly on the relationship between the two, a search of 'Bonanno' and 'Conspiracy Cells of Fire' together on google scholar gives 171 results to be explored although I do not have easy access to the ones I clicked which look promising. Thanks @W1tchkr4ft 00:. If you need any help with greek sources let me know. Now as far as the Bonano influence on SPF, I d suggest we remove it. Cinadon36 08:59, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
