1. "The communist regime in Poland did not restore any of the property to the family" - I think that would be the New Palace in Żywiec, pl:Nowy Zamek w Żywcu. The communist authorities converted the palace into a school. Should be a red link if we don't stub it. 2. "In 1946, she was awareded the Polish Cross of Valour." - by which government?
