Spiro T. Agnew

If Agnew was in Alpha Chi Rho, then why isn't his name listed under Alpha Chi Rho Famous Alumni? You would think that a fraternity would not overlook someone who was a Vice-Pres. I'd revert the change but I don't enough about it. I can tell you that Agnew was definetly not a Phi Delt. --† Ðy§ep§ion † 06:14, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

I reverted this last night; a Google search on Agnew showed he was Phi Alpha Delta. I may be using the wrong short name, as we don't have Phi Alpha Delta on our campus. He's definately not a Crow. RasputinAXP talk contribs 14:25, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Huh. Little did I know Phi Alpha Delta is a professional fraternity. It appears he was Greek, just not Greek. RasputinAXP talk contribs 14:42, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Spiro Agnew was DEFINITELY listed in my exoteric manual when I was a postulant in 1992. I don't know why anyone is so sure he was not a crow (not that we may want to admit it :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.141.131.141 (talk) 23:18, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Chapter Founding Dates

Distinguished brothers

With all due respect to the man in question ... does being a hostage in Iraq make a person "distinguished"? Famous, perhaps ... but distinguished? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.82.231.152 (talk) 06:11, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

I also seriously question whether a Probate Judge or the founder of a website no one has ever heard of (howstuffworks.com) are "distinguished".

One of the definitions of distinguished is "famous" ("celebrated, well-known or eminent because of past achievements" from wiktionary). That's what it means by distinguished brothers. --Rotellam1 (talk) 22:51, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
