Jack?[edit]

Is there any particular reason "jack" the shorten version of "John", at least in the US, is not even mentioned on this page?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.98.64.64 (talkcontribs) 29 December 2009

Table form[edit]

This list would work better as a table. Then readers could sort either the languages or names alphabetically. It'd make it easier to find all the names of a certain language, etc.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 08:38, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gianina?[edit]

Um, Gianina is not Irish. I would suggest Italian perhaps? magentafeelings (talk) 21:45, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get it[edit]

How are those alternate forms for the name John? Right now, the article is just translations of John to other languages. --95.120.71.245 (talk) 08:20, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Order[edit]

Why is this list ordered the way it is? It appears to be ordered alphabetically but with some extras added at the top. 94.175.63.142 (talk) 23:01, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Now it appears to be fully in alphabetical order. Probably it was originally alphabetical, and then someone added new names directly at the beginning of the list.Niera (talk) 15:56, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
