Article title is very bad[edit]

I am getting increasingly sceptical to and annoyed about articles labelled alternative X because it is very subjective what is the mainstream and what is the alternative. Alternative to what? In which context? In countries without much standardized testing, the alternative to regular assessment would actually be a standardized test. Hence the premise of the article name becomes very political, subjective and country-centric. There are also so many alternatives which makes it hard to tell what the alternative really is. It could also open a pandora's box of creatively named articles such as alternative car, alternative housing, alternative chair, etc. I propose to rename the article to something more concrete, or split up the contents and merge where the parts belong.
