Double Down News[edit]

Double Down News is listed here though not apparently notable enough to have its own article. An article was created for it by STonyG, nominated for speedy deletion by Buidhe and then redirected here by Ritchie333. It seems wrong to me to redirect here, where it is simply listed in passing - and indeed I'd question whether it is noteworthy enough to be listed here. Any thoughts? Have you tried a Google News search for Double Down News and evaluated the results you get? I think the principal reason for a redirect (with the potential to expand into an article in the future) is this piece referring to George Monbiot complaining about Facebook removing a video. Thanks. So wouldn't the sensible thing be to turn the DDN page into a stub rather than redirect here? BobFromBrockley (talk) 09:35, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alt left sites[edit]

Labour List is emphatically NOT “left wing”. I get it’s bulletin daily: it supports the Starmer right factional wing of the party. To call it “centrist” would be far more accurate. LL, that is, not Starmer Labour which is now solidly conservative/Conservative with some progressive postures and policies thrown in to appease core progressive Labourites.

my bona fides: Doctorate in modern history (2021) and follower of UK electoral politics for some decades.
