Prof. DR. Alwi Shihab & Islam Inclusive[edit]

Alwi Shihab is a Sayyid, which means a direct decendant of the Prophet Muahammad SAW through Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet, and Imam Ali ibn Abithalib (the 1st Imam and the 4th ruler of Islamic Khalifah after the prophet). His continuous effor is to present Islam as an inclusive religious with a very moderate view which is advocated by the Islamic Holy book; The Noble Qur'an. In contrary, follower of radical Islam and extrimists tend to use the Holy Qur'an to justify their acts, in which the result of ignorant and very limited knowledge and understanding of the Noble Qur'an itself.

I am hoping for other world leaders and religious leaders will have to follow his footsteps in building moderate and tolerance world communities.
