Patronymic[edit]

Seems to have an Icelandic-style patronymic rather than a surname... AnonMoos (talk) 12:08, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It was a general Norse tradition, it has not been retained anywhere but Iceland, but some people choose to use elsewhere to be different. Since there is no tradition modern for patronyms in Sweden, it will probably not be passed on. FunkMonk (talk) 10:27, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I see in the article: Her mother, Lotta Lille, is a journalist, and her father, Anders Lundquist, is a teacher and chess tutor. So, no one of her parents has a family name Andersdotter, but her father has a personal name Anders. So, Andersdotter is just a patronymic (not Icelandic, Icelandic patronymic from father's name Anders would be I suppose Anderssdóttir). So, I think it would be rational to remove the {{DEFAULTSORT:Andersdotter, Amelia}} line from the article source code. Gamliel Fishkin 12:55, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if it's just because she's Swedish..[edit]

..but holy Jimmy Wales she looks super-cute! http://www.ameliatillbryssel.se/material o_o Ontopic: The photo, although lifted from her page, looks a bit too much like a mugshot, don't you think? SeriousWorm (talk) 03:20, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

😍 it's not… not only the swedish – ❣ it's the deep natural beauty of an idealistic, precious ♡ noble soul (compare to conventional money driven politicians… 👻 ). --2.247.253.108 (talk) 19:55, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
