DAD-IS and content forking[edit]

I think that this article really may need to be merged back into the Gypsy Vanner article, it's a content fork. But that's for later. Right now, I must insist on not using that snark about the DAD-IS list in the article; that list is so completely inadequate that it doesn't even include the very well-known Standardbred, developed in the USA, yet it does include the obscure Akhal-Teke, which isn't even an American breed. (It also reports slang for horse types that aren't even real breeds, i.e. Broomtail and Cow Pony). I have no clue how these reports are generated, but whoever did so for the USA clearly had zero knowledge of the American horse industry. Montanabw(talk) 22:06, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
