No Visual effects?[edit]
How can you say here were no visual effects; everything is either practical or Mary's patients are members of the real-life body modification community when the actresses that played both Tristan Risk as Beatress Johnson and Paula Lindberg as Ruby Realgirl did NOT have any of those modifications nor did David Lovgren have a pierced back and it actually was VISUAL EFFECTS? Lovgren also has arms and legs. Forrest Gump was praised for their 'visual effects" when they showed Gary Sineses legs amputated. This is the same thing isn't it? This reference actually says 'full prosthetic'[1]. Is that not visual effects? The reference from the Soska twins was actually incorrect.
