- At Wikipedia, our articles are written and maintained according to rigorous standards of both neutrality and verifiability. Because of these policies, and because we do not accept original research in our articles, all claims and statements of fact, no matter how individual editors may feel about them, must be attributable to high-quality secondary sources. When a majority of reliable sources agree on a given classification, our articles are bound to reflect that agreement. In the case of the A3P, the majority of the reliable sources currently known classify the A3P as a white supremacist organization.
- Our article on white supremacy defines it as "the belief, and/or promotion of the belief, that white people are superior to people of other racial backgrounds." This definition is in accordance with the preponderance of the available reliable sources on the topic, and is what is generally meant when the term is used on Wikipedia. Matters of opinion and the perceived correctness or incorrectness of the ideology do not enter into the equation. At any rate, no classification is derogatory if it presents the facts in a neutral and verifiable manner. The situation would be different if the Party were to be described as "a bunch of evil Nazi freaks" or something similar.
- "White supremacy", "white supremacist", and other variants are all in common use by some organizations to define their own ideology, and so these terms are not generally considered to be derogatory. For other organizations, "white nationalist" or "white separatist" may very well be the correct classification, but that can only be determined by a survey of high-quality third-party sources. For the A3P, "white supremacy" is currently the most neutral and most verifiable classification.
- Per extensive discussion (see below), both organizations, in conjunction with third-party media outlets, are considered to be reliable sources for identification of particular groups’ political and racial ideologies. Other sources which consider the A3P white supremacist include unchallenged reliable sources such as Yahoo! News, Business Insider, and MSNBC, as well as the conservative blog The Daily Caller.
