Instead, please point out any specific problems with the factual content of the article, rather than simply reverting anything that doesn't cast AWCI in a positive light. If there are specific edits you disagree with, let's discuss them here.[reply]

Time-further-out (talk) 17:06, 6 October 2011 (UTC) Recent changes to this article read like an advertisement for the AWCI, and several verifiably factual edits have been undone by someone who is intent on casting the AWCI in only a positive light. The AWCI is a pay-to-play organization which serves only one small segment of the watch industry: modern (mostly Swiss) watch repair. They do not promote the advancement of independent watchmakers and do not provide education or certification in vintage or antique repair. They are heavily funded by contributions from industry, and while they wish to present themselves as "THE" trade association for watchmakers and clockmakers, only a minority of practicing watchmakers and clockmakers are members. Their membership is easily verified by reviewing their financial reports which are published on the AWCI web site, so there is no question that their membership is in significant decline. Let's not turn a factual Wikipedia article into a rah-rah piece for an failing organization.[reply]
