I think it's the title.[edit]

I think the major problem people had with this article was its title. Propaganda is a charged word. How about "U.S. pro and anti-war sentiment in the Mexican-American War"?Hilltrot (talk) 00:59, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest deletion[edit]

This article reads as if it is an undergraduate research paper. There is a section in the main article on the Mexican-American War that covers the subject. This article has few pageviews. I suggest deletion. Amuseclio (talk) 17:53, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Amuseclio[reply]

Yes, this article should probably be deleted. It's really just about two speeches, one by Polk and another by Lincoln, and it's not clear that these speeches merit an article. I added notability and OR tags, but I can't find any sources about the topic. I will likely nominate the article for deletion shortly, if it is not improved.
