Birthdate uncertainty[edit]

This article was giving Rajan a 4th July date of birth based on a New Statesman article where he writes when [my parents] named me in Calcutta on the fourth day in July of 1983. But he may have been referring to a naming ceremony held some days later. I've replaced it with a more general "age as of date" range, finding no other sources for a date of birth. That's a fair point but the date range you've put in is too wide. This is The Guardian confirming he was born in 1983. In fact, it effectively says that he was born "little more" than a fortnight after 17 June. The date range sourced to that would be June or July 1983. I've changed it to 1983 sourced to The Guardian. DeCausa (talk) 22:10, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
