Well-written[edit]

A pleasant read with a lot of personality! Some nit-picks:

  • her relationship with her father and his death — "her relationship with [...] his death" is a bit odd, perhaps: "with her late father", or, later on: "and her feelings about his death".
  • vaguely shares — perhaps something like, "alludes", to remove any possible negative connotation.
  • (featuring Clairy Browne) — this would seem useful on the song's first mention, unless I am missing something.
  • Violet Chachki says her look — I initially thought she was referencing Davenport's outfit.

Verifiable with no original research[edit]

A lot of good sources! Looking at the ones of unknown reliability, their about pages, publishers, and what they cite, seem satisfactory. This is a bit silly from WERRRK.com, but yes, they were selected for archive by the Library of Congress, and WP:PLOTCITE also partially applies.

  • Compounded with the blockquote, I sense a bit of over-quoting in the "Reception" section. They're part of every sentence! Of course, it shouldn't be too difficult to make some tweaks and work your magic.
    • I've done a bit of paraphrasing and also moved the commentary re: fashion by The Guardian to the fashion paragraph under "Production and fashion". ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:12, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Gambit Magazine may not be needed as a self-described blog.

Broad in its coverage[edit]

Many hits on Google Scholar and TWL, but upon checking, none of them discuss the episode in any detail, it just seems to be a catchy tagline. Looking through news articles and websites, I can safely say that this article is quite broad.

  • I agree that it's an overall benefit, but the 110 words of background on Cameron is a bit distracting. Perhaps the list of episodes could be summarized.
    • I've trimmed a bit. I had hoped to include the relevant episode titles, but perhaps that's too much detail? I should note two of the episodes are later mentioned re: Cayne. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:02, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Could you clarify The Guardian's stance on Pearl's and Chachki's outfits? It seems to be positive considering statements like: "...give people a reason to root for you other than the fact that [you wear] corsets tighter than Miss Scarlett herself", and "...so I, like Michelle Visage, applaud [...] all efforts to channel Madonna (now two weeks running!)." Whatever you think works best!
    • Also, to segue from their shady first statement about Chachki, would any of their commentary on the contestants' personas, relationships, or exit interviews be worth a mention? Some of it isn't too tied to the episode as a whole, but I'd be interested in your opinion.
      • I would say this seems like unnecessary detail. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:49, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
        • That's fair: it's tricky, because they never really make it about the episode as a whole.

Neutral[edit]

Neutral as can be, seemingly no issues.

Stable[edit]

One revert over due weight and a recent AFD with rough consensus to keep; no major, outstanding issues.

Illustrated[edit]

Images are CC licensed from Flickr, own works, VRT confirmed, or public domain. They are quite lovely, I like the Madonna and Sally Bowles pictures for reference. However:

  • Consider filling out the "non replacable" paramater in the infobox image.
