Duplication[edit]

There is a duplication with the page Andrea Moda. Andrea Moda Formula is more correct, Andrea Moda itself is a (smallish) Italian clothing brand. --alessio 08:08, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK - the Andrea Moda page is now tagged as a fashion stub (no idea whether it is significant enough to warrant an article, but that's for those fashion folks to decide!). Cautiously moving some of the material related to the race team across to this page. Cautiously because it was a direct copy from F1rejects.com.

Fair use rationale for Image:Andrea moda.gif[edit]

Image:Andrea moda.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:36, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

S921[edit]

I didn't want to chop and change this too much without checking if anyone else has better information, but I always thought the story with the chassis went like this: -

- Sassetti intended to run the Coloni C4B for (part of ?) the season (his complete misunderstanding of the sport probably explaining why he thought this was a good idea; Andrea Moda basically fail Occam's Razor at every point) - The new team vs. continuation of Coloni fell down in favour of the former. - He then cast around for a ready made F1 chassis and came up with the Simtek-BMW study (rumoured to have been sent their way by Simtek shareholder Max Moseley) - Hurried to build cars (with help from other team's mechanics) in time for Mexican race, apparently failed.

Whereas the article as it reads makes it sound like the Simtek chassis was always the plan. Does anyone have any solid info on which was the course of events? Most of the stuff I have for reference is contemporary; it's possible more has come to light since.

Also, semi-related I have half a memory that one or the other of the designs failed crash testing. Will dig around and see if I can find a source.

    • Also as an aside I thought I'd written most of this before... digging through the history it looks like I put most of it on the Andrea Moda article before someone pasted the entire F1 Rejects profile over the top and instead of reverting someone chopped it down to nothing and started a brand new article here! Heh =)

Stub class?[edit]

I don't think we're going to get more on this shower without getting ridiculously over-detailed; they've already got at least one notable incident listed for just about every meeting they entered! :)

I've reassessed the article as C-class. DH85868993 (talk) 02:01, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Archive URL didn't work, so I replaced it with one that does. DH85868993 (talk) 03:00, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
