This article is an embarrassment. This is without a doubt the worst article I have ever read on wikipedia. It REALLY needs to be deleted or seriously cleaned up!

Poor Content Quality - Descriptions and Tool Examples are not consistent.[edit]

The original writer states that an annular cutter only uses a single cut and does not require pre-drilling. However, in the tool examples each tool has a guide hole at the center which is consistent with a hole saw (similar to tool used for a deadbolt lock or door handle) but based on the tool examples the angular drill used a predrilled hold which is used to center the angular drill (which itself creates cuts the circumference of the hole) and results in a stable cut. I would expect this would be because without this centering hole it would difficult to keep the material or cutting head from "skating" along the surface of the metal being cut until a groove is established to keep the drill in a set area, a centering hole also would prevent the material from moving relative to the hole and prevent the drill binding in the material from it being moved out of center or off axis. These are only my thoughts, but they seem to correspond with the reference pictures. Written like an ad.[edit]

A majority of the article seems more like an opinion piece or a sales pitch rather than an unbiased and reliable page. There is a whole section dedicated to the benefits of using an annular cutter, which i'm tempted to delete because it doesn't seem necessary. Either that, or reword a majority of the section to get rid of the "advertisement" feel. Just a bit silly (talk) 16:58, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
