I identify as they and I have been using a boy name Sebastian for his good nature to get back on my feet. I really don’t care for him but he is such a loser. He is a scrub that lives at home with parents but at least I got a free car and housing out of him. I mean I paid with sex and stroking his ego. Do you think im wrong for it?

I removed the proposed deletion because after looking through other articles featuring elements of social media, social media apps and anonymity I did not find that this article is in any way a duplication. It was and remains however, too short. Anonymity on Social Network Service

The anonymous social media is spreading out among a number of teenagers. As long as it spreads out to them, the strict rules of anonymous social media are required for the better circumstance of social media. Behind the advantage of this social network service that provides freedom of speech, anonymity harms a healthy online culture.

Reference to article regarding revenue

Moving this to the talk page since one particular wikipedia editor is being unconstructive. Why shouldn't the anonymous social media site s3z.me be linked to? In the section about revenue it talks about models of fundraising, the option some sites make to NOT fund isn't mentioned - and s3z.me is a popular social site that's anonymous that explains that on the page this article was linking to. That's not spam, it's a reference that's pertinent to this article.

And for the record, I am the person who has tried to add that reference, and I am in no way affiliated with that site. I read about it in wired's comments section, and it seemed a good ref to add to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.146.123.4 (talk • contribs) 13:21 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing up the discussion here instead of reinserting the link and promotional text yet again. (This is the edit under discussion, and spammy mentions of the website have also been inserted here and possibly elsewhere.) Please take a moment to look at Wikipedia's guidelines about which external links to exclude, and also note that since there is no indication that sez.me is notable there is no reason to add a mention of it. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information and why would the article mention this non-notable service rather than some other non-notable service? Finally, a reference to the website itself where it talks about its revenue model is not a valid citation - if some reliable third-party source had written in depth about s3z.me and its role as an anonymous social media site it might have been relevant to this article, but s3z.me talking about s3z.me isn't. --bonadea contributions talk 20:30, 11 July 2016 (UTC)

Please add info on pseudonym-devoid sites, social media on the dark web, the varying grades of anonymity on social media

On most social media sites people have pseudonyms - not so on 4chan and some other sites which mostly aren't used as much as 4chan. So please add some content on that - potentially even on 4chan specifically.

Furthermore please also add some content on social media sites on the dark web (Tor & I2P for the most part). E.g. there are similar sites to Twitter and Facebook as well as a clone of reddit available on Tor's dark web.

And lastly there are varying grades of anonymity on social media. Most websites here do only have a pretty shallow grade of anonymity. Social media on the dark web are more anonymous. It also depends on a user's technical usage (e.g. using Tor to access Facebook) and their behavior (e.g. not posting personal details) for how anonymous they are on social media.

PHIL 115 ARTICLE EVALUATION:

 I think that a lot of the information in this article is very relevant and important. A lot of the information comes from journalistic sources and is rather helpful for someone really searching anonymity on social media. However, after looking through the references provided in the section of the article from the facts given, it is clear that a lot information is rather out of date. The most recent reference provided is from August 2014. I think that a lot of more information could be provided on this article especially more up to date information. In particular, I think that in recent events with social media as well as the 2016 Presidential Election the idea of anonymity is very prevalent. I feel that there must be so many more facts and references out there that could really help improve the quality of this article. I also think that more information could be provided for the different forms of social media in which anonymous users are allowed- instead of being glanced over. new proposed additions to the article

I plan on adding new and recent content to this page. I also believe that there should be more discussion of "current" events and cases in regards to controversies with anonymous social media and website use- in particular, the problems it brings with cyber-bullying. I also think that there should be more content in the background section of the page which I hope to improve. Hello all! I'm updating information on a few platforms mentioned in this article. I'll update the sentence that mentions a requirement for Google+ to comment on YouTube videos. I will also update a YouTube policy in favor of more privacy for their users. Additionally, I will update information on a mentioned anonymous social media app, After School. It is defunct and no longer available to download. All references to the application could be deleted altogether, but I will standby for feedback. With more context, it's history could contribute to the controversy of this type of platform. I'll also remove the citation for the sentence I've edited about the application. I will adjust the wording and add a sentence on user's safeguarding their privacy in the 'Prospective Uses' section.
