School[edit]

I thought he went to Rostrevor College? At any rate, he wouldn't have gone to Norwood Morialta since Morialta and Norwood hadn't joined at that stage.

He did! I fixed it 121.44.97.198 12:15, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Accent slips[edit]

The remark that critics have pointed out slips in his American accent is given a citation which goes to an article which comments on his changing his Australian accent, but gives no criticism or examples (unless I misread something?); until there is something substantive to back up the assertion, I think it would be better to remove it. Jock123 (talk) 08:33, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would concur with Jock123 - the reference given does not correlate to the claim "Some critics and viewers have noted his occasional dialect slips.[10]". However, when reading the referenced article, there is no correlation with the claim. In fact, it reinforces the opposite (the article talks about how there appears to be two of him, one with an Aussie and one with an American accent - and how the Australian has been missing since 1982!) Further, how does this relate to "Personal Life" (the section) - it is an (unsubstantiated) comment about his career performance. As noone has failed to validate this in the last 3.5 years, I'm removing it now. Leaving what an unsubstantiated claim without reference is detrimental to Wikipedia standards. Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Anthony LaPaglia/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

==FILMOGRAPHY==

Please add the movie: Chameleon (1996)

Source: Amazon.com (under VHS; it has never been released on DVD)

Note that this movie was not about any comic book character. LaPaglia played an undercover cop. The movie also starred Kevin Pollack and Melora Hardin.

Trevor LaPaglia[edit]

I heard the actor and model Trevor LaPaglia is related (brother?) to Anthony. If so, shouldn't Trevor be listed along with Jonathan? Tesseract501 (talk) 23:50, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Riviera Section - Ad copy, grammar[edit]

"From 2017, stars in veteran filmmaker Neil Jordan's, sumptuous series Riviera. Set in the French Riviera, the series follows Georgina Clios, a midwestern art curator whose life is turned upside down after the death of her billionaire husband Constantine Clios ( LaPaglia) in a yacht accident. Georgina becomes immersed in a world of lies, double-dealing and crime, as she seeks to uncover the truth about her husband's death."

The whole section reads like ad copy. "Sumptuous" is not an encyclopedic adjective. The focus is on director and lead, not LaPaglia. Any opposition to me rewriting a little?

Bad acting[edit]

Has there never been anything published in a reliable source about this man's terribly bad, unconvincing, shallow, melodramatic acting? One misses something on it in this article. His very dramatic part in Without a Trace: much more that he can handle. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 22:51, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I asked a question valid for an article's talk page. Has anyone ever seen anything we can use as a reliable source? It would improve this article, give it some balance. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 16:14, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
