Dispute over related article Anticlericalism and Freemasonry

There is well sourced material now in the new article Anticlericalism and Freemasonry which was deleted wholesale from the old article Catholicism and Freemasonry with very little discussion. What remained, after the deleted material, was moved into either Christianity and Freemasonry or Papal ban of Freemasonry. An editor is claiming that the new article Anticlericalism and Freemasonry‎ is just POV or and attack article and tried to blank the article altogether and redirect to an article without all the blanked material. The editor maintains that the article should be deleted. Those with an interest in the matter might want to weigh in. Mamalujo (talk) 20:46, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Mexico POV comments

The section on Mexico seems to contain a POV bias. Comments like "US-backed" or "atheist" or "obnoxious" are both rhetorically loaded and unverified. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.184.8 (talk) 18:00, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

I would maintain that all of the above are merely factually accurate descriptions. I changed "obnoxious" to Catholics to "offensive", although I believe that was the term a source used and it is indisputibly accurate. Because there is arguably a POV to the term, I changed it. As far as the revolution being U.S. supported or Garrido being an atheist, those are merely statements of fact. Moreover, I think the sources adequately demonstrate that Garrido's atheism was a major motivating factor in his anticlerical actions. Mamalujo (talk) 21:00, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
