This page records the life of someone whose invention, the dart gun for animals, has been absolutely vital in saving literally 1000's of rare animals. His work was also celebrated in the TV series 'Daktari' which ran for decades worldwide and is still fondly remembered. Daktari has a Wikipedia entry.

I checked the first name and it should be Antonie instead of Anton (the name occurs over several generations according to the genealogical data). The title of the lemma should be changed.
