Setting[edit]

I think that the beginning of this section with "The show is set Birmingham, Alabama in the 1960s, during the peak of desegregation." is wrong. The show is set in the present day and has several flashbacks to the 60s. Since most of the show happens in the present day it is wrong to state it is set in the 60s. Dispute[edit]

Mats Haldin disputed the validity of the external link added by myself, considering it spam. I feel that including the ichannel's airing of this show is relevant to Canadians who are interested in viewing it. This is why I initially included it. He felt that it was spam and so I relented, in that I am a new user. I am, however, returning it as an outside link so that people know where to view the show.

My reasoning is that Lifetime TV is listed in the external links section for what appears to be the same reason. I feel that this is a healthy precedent for the inclusion of other television providers who carry this program. If anyone other than Mats, feels that this is an abuse of wikipedia to wrongfully promote the ichannel website, please add your comments here.

If the external links on this page become overbearing, I will be happy to remove this link.

If he continues to exclude it, for what seems to be blindly applying anti-spam rules, I would like to solicit the help of user FT2 who has a history of peacefully and professionally resolving disputes. I feel that this is more productive than going back and forth reverting changes and making issues personal.
