I move the above template here since almost every article needs expansion. Without details of what needs expanding, the tag in the article is not too helpful. - Taxman Talk 13:23, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Apabhramsa words"[edit]

After the introductory paragraph, which is well written, everything under the contents section is almost completely unrelated and misinformed. The author has misunderstood what Apabhraṃśa means, talking about "Apabhraṃśa words" and languages with "minimal Apabhraṃśa" (which seems to be a biased claim of Dravidian linguistic purity) - he is talking about tatsama and tadbhava. Furthermore, he seems to have misunderstood the nature of what should be rightfully called a tadbhava; he mentions how Telugu words exhibit adjectival > noun "apabhramsa" , when in fact it is a case of lost inflectional endings. The entirety of the contents should be removed or re-written. 96.48.238.48 (talk) 15:17, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
