note[edit]

The section Acute myocardial infarction/heart attack cites a paper by Kuniyoshi et al. That paper does state the 70%, 50% number, but it has nothing to do with their results. They just noted that 70% of the 92 patients they used in their study had high AHI. But this fact is not given as higher than expected, or significant in any way. It is just so they would be able to conduct their study. They wanted to compare high AHI to non-high AHI, and if there weren't enough patients in either group, they authors wouldn't have enough statistical power to compare the groups. There could be another study that says that high AHI is a risk factor for Acute myocardial infarction, but this isn't it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.12.12.242 (talk) 21:33, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Improving definition of hypopnea[edit]

Should the definition of hypopnea be improved to include details about the oxygen saturation decrease (eg, 3% vs 4%)? Prophylax (talk) 20:05, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AHI in children[edit]

Should the ranges for AHI (eg, mild, moderate, severe) in children be included? Prophylax (talk) 20:08, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
