Examples are unclear
"If you vote for this tax cut, it will mean that the fat cats will get even more money to spend on their expensive luxury yachts, while you and I keep struggling to pay the bills."
This is not necessarily a fallacy, since tax cuts can and often are regressive.
"Stop recycling! Aren't you tired of Hollywood celebrities preaching to everyone about saving the Earth?"
This is a better example of a non sequitur: ie. if you stop recycling celebrities will shut up about it.
Why should student benefits be reinstated, when I got nothing from the state and had to sacrifice to pay for my studies?
This is not necessarily a fallacy since the fact a person (the speaker) was able to conduct studies without assistance does count as evidence against benefits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.228.168.213 (talk) 23:28, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
