Windows Clients[edit]

Does anyone have any ideas about how to get windows machines to report their os, and other stats? Even if someone can provide the nitty gritty details about the communications that could be used to construct a client would be a great addition to this article. --Ethicalhacker (talk) 22:38, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License Issues[edit]

A fact that is often forgotten is, if you want to use apple remote desktop to administer your clients, and if you want to use a mac server as a task server to install updates - you neeed 2 installations of apple remote desktop and therefore have to buy 2 licenses. -- AC from Austria — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.65.213.2 (talk) 08:28, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
