I don't know if this meets national notability standards, but here in Detroit it was a major opening. Harlemite11 (talk) 16:13, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I do not understand exactly what your motives are in simultaneously editing the page to its detriment and seeking to have the AfD revisited. These appear to be mutally incompatible goals and suggest a [[[WP:COI]]]. I cannot fathom was the intent of your recent edits was, as our goal is to reduce redlinking, rather than increase it. Obviously, if you intend to creat the articles you've redlinked, that would be a different story. If you do intend to do so, I will obviously stand down. 79.142.65.53 (talk) 11:14, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You reverted edits that were intended to improve the article, not hurt it. I added links to the Detroit Free Press references and added another review reference that, while not seemingly favorable, might help in establishing notability. The redlinks are temporary flags that indicate something needs checking or better sourcing or removal, but creating new articles just to provide blue links is not my MO. As for the AfD, I don't think reviews and notices of regional productions meet the standards for notability, but other editors, if given a fair chance to comment, discuss and edit, might. I asked for a review or a relisting of the AfD because of the sandbagging by blocked sockpuppets who do not allow anyone else to make edits they don't like. My motives are clear; edit accordingly to the policies of Wikipedia and build a better encyclopedia. Flowanda | Talk 22:52, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
