Sources[edit]

I've removed Kiran Gandhi's Architectural Management website from the introduction. I don't know how authoritative Gandhi is, but there may be parts of his website that can be used to source the remainder of the article. Sionk (talk) 12:27, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's a start but doesn't go anywhere near far enough. I'm suggesting a comprehensive rewrite is in order, with some fresh material and wider research to back it up. Although a link to the main source is now removed the article still reads as a plug for a particular publication or published method of management, not a general account of the subject. The arrangement of the article and much of the wording relates directly to the website text, simply referring to a source that is now not part of the article. This is an important topic and as it stands it is a highly unsatisfactory resource for anyone wanting to find out some hard facts about the ways architects manage their offices and their projects. The other question of course is whether both subjects even belong in the same article since they are entirely different. ProfDEH (talk) 19:13, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A little research shows the conclusion was simply a plug for the architectural management course at the IE School of Architecture based in Madrid, now deleted as inappropriate, although not lifted word for word. Rewrite[edit]

I have made an effort to put some sense into the content here, all that stuff about architects needing some discipline came straight from the management course and can't be taken as suitable material, so it's now somewhat shorter. There are still no references but at least it makes sense now. ProfDEH (talk) 15:01, 1 April 2013 (UTC) hi[reply]
