Merger proposal[edit]

I propose to merge Argus_(monitoring_software) into this article Argus – Audit Record Generation and Utilization System. As far as I can see they are both about the same software. This article has more of the historical context (though it could do with some editing) and the other article has more up to date information. The software is open source and has been since 1993. Gentle people, I apologize for this, not sure this is the right place.

Is it possible to change the title of this Article to better reflect the software that it references ? The software that is referenced in this article is name " Argus ", I an the author, which started in 1985, and is one of the first open source projects, released officially from Carnegie Mellon University and myself in 1993. Argus is an active open source project, used by Govt's, Institutions, Corporations and 10,000's of users for network monitoring and security auditing. Argus is in the top 100 security products in the Internet (sectools.org), it is referenced in over 200 scientific articles, and the focal point of several books on cyber security and network monitoring.

I would like the article to titled " Argus - Audit Record Generation and Utilization System". Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,
