Children[edit]

In the above youtube video link, Aron Ra talks of his daughter, who will, as of 2016, be about 28. I note the wiki text only mentions a son, but this reference should justify inclusion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.4.167.207 (talk) 22:31, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

MiniRa actually works on the stuff Aron does. This girl is pretty much silent online and not worth mentioning. Zero Serenity (talk - contributions) 02:43, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Remove tag?[edit]

There is currently a tag at the top of this article that says "This article may require cleanup to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. The specific problem is: Large amounts of external links that should be references." However, it appears that this is no longer the case: there are only a handful of external links at this time, and they look legitimate. Therefore I propose this tag be removed.Chillowack (talk) 23:45, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The excessive external links are in the body of the article, not the external links section. Zero Serenity (talk - contributions) 00:49, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Create AronRa as redirect[edit]

Create AronRa as:

#REDIRECT [[Aron Ra]]

{{Rcat shell|
{{R from modification}}
}}

AronRa is the YouTube user name of Aron Ra, who is active on YouTube, thus this redirect would be useful for readers. The page protection may be removed as the title was protected against recreation back when the subject was considered non-notable by Wikipedia standards. feminist (talk) 13:08, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Aron Ra being a feminist should be noted[edit]

Aron Ra is quoted at thehumanist.com as saying: "Having identified as a feminist (one who believes that women should have social, economic, and political equality with men), I’ve gotten an awful lot of hate from other atheists online. Many of whom say that I should have identified as a humanist instead."[1]

Shouldn't the article note that Aron Ra is a feminist?Knox490 (talk) 13:01, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, if you reference that source that's fine. Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 16:46, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I added the info along with the source.Knox490 (talk) 17:58, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"L."[edit]

Does anyone know what the initial "L" in Ra's given name stands for? We have verification that he legally changed his name to "Aron Ra", and that his name at birth was "L. Aron Nelson"; it would be nice if we had his full given name at birth in the article. Joefromrandb (talk) 18:27, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why would it "be nice"? All available references refer to pre-name-change name as "L." which is all we need per WP:V. Going on a sleuthing hunt beyond reliable sources (i.e. "Does anyone know?") not only risks being original research, but also doesn't contribute anything to the article. 73.254.89.137 (talk) 13:53, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Because, IP sock, that's what we do here. We aim for precision and accuracy. Unless Ra's given name at birth was "L." (which Ra himself has confirmed it was not), the article should attempt to list his correct name. Joefromrandb (talk) 05:21, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
