The article here plainly belongs with the article Concrete Art, an international tendency that most art historians agree grew out of Van Doesburg's short-lived Paris-based group. It is therefore proposed to merge the two articles under the title Concrete Art. The ephemeral nature of the Art Concret group does not justify an article devoted solely to itself. I merged the two articles, as outlined above. Then, since there was no response to the comment there, I decided to change the focus of this article. Now, rather than the history of the movement, it concentrates largely on the magazine itself and what appeared there, providing useful background when the link from Concrete Art is followed up.
