Title was originally "san francisco visual arts", but it inevitably included peter voulkos, so i refocused it to include the bay area, which of course has been a fertile, cross bay region for arts. the article should include the major museums, schools of art, and a list of Bay Area visual artists, and a vastly expanded history section. lots of work.
